For all you photographer mommas... how do you mix outdoor scenery photography in the winter with a newborn? My head feels like it's going to blow up soon if I don't get out there and get some shots of the newly fallen snow, but I'm not entirely sure how to do this without freezing the baby, even in a sling. Any suggestions or ideas would be much welcome!

In a sling under your coat? With a hat, warm socks and mittens?

I'm just starting in photography, and my timing stinks--I'll have a newborn in three months. Rough time to try to grow your business. Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading any other input about photographing with newborns!

Try something like this maybe. Anything where your baby is inside the coat with you, wrapped in a sling. A big coat zipped up, with your baby's head peaking out for air would probably do.
