Ok, before i sew my fleece ai2, is the more vibrant color side the correct side to put on the outside of the diaper for mm 200wt fleece and the alpine fleece i got from joann's. also does the alpine fleece work well?

Well, I usually try to put the more fuzzy side of fleece on the outside if that help. And I use Joann's and MM fleece and Joann's pills more and does not look as nice, but it works really great for a daytime cover. I actually prefer it sometimes because it is a bit thinner and less tightly knit, thus cooler for the summer. And the pilling does not seem to affect how well it works.

I've only ever used the fleece from Joanns and it's worked great for me. it does pill a lot and it picks up fibers from my diapers big time, but I've used it day or night and not had a problem.

Also, you can dry your fleece with a dryer sheet and that is supposed to increase and restore its waterproofness. HTH!

I put the smoother, more vibrant on the outside, I think it pills less and looks better longer. I think it is really personal preference rather than a performance issue.
