I just got one a week ago... and I love it! It's my current favorite. My son is only 4 months though... and I have read that stretchy wraps are better for smaller babies. You might want to get some feedback from someone with an older baby, or maybe consider a woven wrap. I just ordered an Ellaroo - can't wait for it to get here!

I don't have a Moby, but I do have a stretchy wrap (Cuddly Wrap). I have tried on a Moby and know that it is more supportive than my Cuddly Wrap however I think you may get longer use out of a woven wrap since your baby is older. I've already noticed a difference carrying my 7 week old now that she is 12 lbs. I have to pay special attention to get the wrap on super tight and then she is starting to sag after long wearing. I'm starting to look into which woven wrap to get because wraps are so comfortable!

It's definitely a personal preference kind of thing, but many people do report having a harder time getting a snug fit with a stretchy wrap and a heavier baby. I can still wear my 25 lb., 17 month old (I know, he's little
) pretty comfortably, but many people can't do it at that point.

You might be safer with a woven or gauze wrap.

Just my .02.

I have a Moby and I love it!! I can't wait to use it with my newborn, it is so cozy and feels more secure to me than most slings. I got it when dd was about a year old and for a while it was the ONLY way to get her to sleep. I haven't tried a woven to compare but I do love my Moby - and I started with it as my first wrap because it is such a great price.
