Can I get some reassurance that I should not be worried about my 14 month old son who has had a fever most of each day for a week now? Temp range has been 102-105. He had pinkeye last weekend and still has runnny nose and cough... just a cold, right?

I know fever is his friend, and for the most part his behavior this week has confirmed that fact. He has slept twice as much as normal but when awake he has mostly been himself. And we have not given much motrin to control. But now that we have hit the "week" mark I am starting to get nervous as it seems to me a cold should be gone by now.

any thoughts?

My dd had something similar sounding a month ago--fever between 102-104 for 4 days, extremely legargic for 2 days and moderately for the rest of week, and developed what I think was a sinus infection. I did two days (starting the third day of fever) of an intense amount of immune boosting remedies--herbal/garlic teas, tea baths, tinctures, homeopathic rems...After those two days she was much better and came out of it no worse for wear.

Now I think she has Rubella: --I hope

I would just hang in there--it's a good sign she has a fever. Just give the usual immune support and encourage her to rest.
