DD has been telling dh to leave the bathroom lately when she has to poop. Early this morning, she woke up and asked for dh. He was getting dressed for work, and did not yet have pants on. He had on a shirt, socks, and underwear. He went in to her, and she told him to get out and put on pants! She never does that with me, but she seems to be saying stuff like lately to dh. She doesn't make me leave when she poops. She seems so young to want privacy and for her dad to be dressed around her. She also wont let my MIL take her to the bathroom. (she needs help on and off the toilet, and needs to be held to wash her hands, she can't reach the sink) Did/does anyone else have a toddler that insists that daddy get dressed or leave the bathroom or wont let anyone but mama take them to the bathroom?? Or is my dd strange?

Sounds a bit odd to me. But could just be an individual quirk.<br><br>
My 3 yr old wants privacy to nurse her baby dolls <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eyesroll.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="roll"> I have NO idea where she got such an idea... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>

DS (31 mos.) does some things like this, telling people to "stay back" when he doesn't want to be interrupted or telling DH to "get some pants on" when he's walking around in his underwear. Most of it I've chalked up to copying stuff he sees other people do.

My daughter was very modest at 27 months. She basically potty trained herself because she didn't want anyone in the bathroom with her. She's the only 1 out of 4 that is naturally modest, the rest of mine will still prance around naked without a thought :p
