That's what we hear at nap- and bedtime these days. It's annoying, but it's funny, too. If we ignore him long enough, he switches to "MOM! DAD! MOM! DAD! MOM! DAD! MOM!" Obviously we sneak up to the door to make sure he doesn't actually need anything, but still. When we do go in, he sits up in bed with a huge grin, is perfectly happy to snuggle down with his bug and be tucked in, but thirty seconds later we're back to the yell. How long is he going to do this?

HA! MY 4 yr old does this, but only when he wants something. If I don't answer right away he starts singing mom to this tune he made up. It's really funny, but if he does it too often in one evening it gets REALLY annoying. I don't know, do they grow out of it? I sure hope so! I would LOVE to be able to lay them down for bed and not be constantly attending to some little thing they want. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/bouncy.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="bouncy">
