I thought I'd post here, it's sort of a challenge? I just don't want my supply to drop. I think I've caught some type of stomach bug and am trying to drink as much water as I can stomach and keep as many calories as I can down. What are some great things to eat/drink with lots of nutrition? I've been making smoothies. About the only thing that really feels ok down is cereal, but I can't just eat that.

I was eating soup and real old fashioned gingerale. Also icepops. Not the best combination, but you have to eat something. I also was able to get down cooked rice mixed with yogurt (an old greek staple). Good luck, hope you feel better.

i would say if cereal is the only thing you can manage, then eat cereal. it's better to be able to keep something in your stomach, than to try to eat food that you won't be able to keep down. maybe instead of only water, what about gatorade (extra calories) or better yet some sort of nursing tea with honey in it. that would help to keep your supply up and the honey would give you a bit of energy. soups and broths are also great for being very nourishing and mild on the stomach. hope you feel better asap!
