dd is practicing telling me off. the whole bus ride home from daycare yesterday, which is about 45 minutes, she was talking. she says, "Mommy?" and I say, "yes dear?" and she says, "NO." And on, and on. Mommy, no. No, mommy. she even started to merge it into one word, "no-mmy"

I suppose there will come a time when I'm not laughing but at the moment I think it's totally cute. I tell her, "Yes." and she says, "no."

I don't know why I lvoe it so much!!! i must be in toddler mind space myself!

sadie-Yes, there will be a time that you don't find it cute! My DS is not quite 2.5 and has just started the NO! thing. This can come on the heals of Mommy?. Like, I want you to respond, but I DON'T want you to respond.

Very indecisive. Very funny. On a good day, I don't even think about it. On a stressful day, it does annoy me slightly. But I don't let on to DS. I just keep saying, YES??.

They are so darn funny at this age.
