Any mommies-to-be in the Bradford county, PA area interested in getting together to meet face to face are invited to come to lunch. Saturday, May 19, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Weigh Station Cafe on the Merrill Parkway in Towanda, Pa. It is about 30 minutes south of Waverly NY for those of you in the Southern Tier. There is room for 30 people. Lunches run around $10 for sandwich, side, and drink plus tip. Reservations are required since space is limited (we will be in the upstairs room) by contacting Michelle at [email protected] There is no agenda, just get to know each other, share ideas, learn from one another. If you have a birth-related product or service you are welcome to bring brochures or samples for the table. Hope to see you there.

Just a reminder to reserve your spot if you're planning on coming to the Mommy-To-Be lunch. Grandmommies or aunties-to-be are welcome if you want to bring a friend. It's a fun way to meet other mommies-to-be and establish those relationships you'll need to survive the early days of parenting. It's also a great way to ask all of those pregnancy/birth questions you keep forgetting to ask your midwife/OB. Our local La Leche League Leader will be there, also a representative from MOPS in Sayre, PA. There is no scheduled teaching, but there will be time for questions and answers after the meal. Contact [email protected] to reserve your seat.
