My 2nd baby was born without any complications OCT 25. I stopped post-partum bleeding 2 weeks ago. Now I've started bleeding again except this looks bright red not older brown w/mucas like postpartum. On day 3 now and I've just started some cramps. Any idea if this is just cycling already or late hemoraging? It's a very small amount but BRIGHT red.
I have been nursing my 2 year old and my newborn 24/7 so I know cycling already is unlikly.

The same thing happened to me -- twice, in fact. My MW thought it was within the range of normal. I did get AF back two months later, however.

I got my first PP AF about a week after my PP bleeding stopped .. and yep, it was an ovulatory cycle.

The same thing is happening to me also, except my DD was born almost 10 weeks ago.

My midwife said that since Im not having pain or other problems that its probably fine. She did say I could take shepherds purse or she could call in a prescription for methergine if it goes on much longer.
