Hi there,
I am moving to Montreal in December with my partner and one-year-old daughter. We are a homebirthing, breastfeeding, organic food eating, attachment parenting family and are eager to connect with other babes and parents in Montreal. We would love to find a playgroup and/or a childcare co-op and/or just some other groovy families to hang out with and show us the ropes of parenting in Montreal. We are moving from California and don't know anyone or anything!

Hi Laurel and Jenny!

I'm Ninette. I just moved this summer *from* Montreal *to* California!

I lived on the west island, in Dorval specifically. My dh is Quebecois; I'm from Kentucky USA originally. We lived in Montreal five years and had our two sons there. They are now ages 4.5y and 1.5y. Dh accepted a new job in southern California in June and we moved in August. We're still settling in.

I made many friends in Montreal and will keep in touch with several for as long as I live. I hope to get back to visit sometimes, and it's always possible we'll move back there at some point.
