I'm 15 weeks and more exhausted than I was the first trimester (and I was really exhausted then too).

I don't sleep that well...well I sleep well until the middle of the night bathroom trip, but then float in and out of sleep the rest of the night. I'm ALWAYS tired. I work out daily and it truly doesn't seem to help.

Do I just chalk it up to normal pregnancy? I know it is normal to be tired, I guess I was hoping it would get better for a little while though. Anything natural I can do to help myself sleep better? Should I be concerned about getting more iron in me?

Oh, is there really such a thing as a 2nd trimester energy boost???? I'd like to have one (a girl can dream)

I am 20 weeks and bone tired. I have so much to do in unpacking and organizing this house but I have a hard enough time just doing the day to day stuff.

My third tri I sometimes get more energy but then my hips hurt to much to move.

I had the same problem (especially in months 7 and 8 - extreme fatigue due to low iron).

Re sleep - yeah, I'm sometimes up every hour peeing! This has been going on for weeks!

What I found was that sometimes, if I listen to my HypnoBirthing Rainbow Relaxation tape (20 minutes long, teaches you how to deeply relax for labor) before bed - I make sure I stay awake through it, I sleep SO SOUNDLY at night!!!! aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Anyway, I just ordered a Hypnobabies PEACEFUL SLEEP NOW audio tape (plus 3 others - After Your Baby Comes, Affirmations, & Visualize Your Birth). I hope this helps me get a full nights sleep. I know it will.

Perhaps you'll feel more energized if you get more sleep in.
