I know I am probably just being a total worry wart. I am now 33 weeks
I went in to do 3 different apt.'s today so I could kill 3 birds with one stone because I have a 30 min. drive each way to get to my apt.'s.
First I went to my Doc. apt. and seen him. First of all I went to take my urine test to check all of that. There was a trace of blood that showed up in my urine. And my white blood count was showing up high. They asked if I have had any signs of urinary track infection or yeast infection and I said no. So they said not to worry about it and they will check again next time.
So then I went over and got my non stress test and during that time I had a pretty good contraction and they said one of the babies (baby A) heart rate went way down at the start of it and then went back up after the contraction.
They wanted me to come back tomorrow to do another NST and my doc. gave me the same recomondation when I called and asked him about it.
I then had my Monthly Ultra sound and they said that looked good there.

I am now a little scared with them wanting me to come back for another NST. Has any one else had to go back the next day any experience like this? They wouldn't tell me to much and just said they will see what show's up tomorrow. Also the blood in the urine and the high counts have me a little worried also.
I am not sure how much sleep I am going to get tonight.

I went to my Non Stress test again today and baby A's heart keeps dropping even if I am not having a contraction now. No one knows what to think of it there and they now want me to come in 2 to 3 times a week for a Non stress test, 30 min. drive each way
: . I will be going in again on Friday. I hope his heart beat stay's up this time. I will also have another one on Monday and then a Doc. apt. after so I will see what he say's then.

One of my babies heart rate dropped during one of my NSTs and they sent me over to L&D triage to be monitored longer. They needed to use the space in the NST room for other patients. I hung out for a few hours and when it didn't go down again, they thought it was fine & sent me home. I didn't worry about it since it was a one off, but if I were in your shoes, I'd be looking into what this could mean and what they're monitoring -- if this continues, what could it mean and what would they do? Have you talked to your doctor about it? I go to UCSF & they have the perinatologists come in right away if there is a concern, but a peri reviews the read outs from every NST at the end of the day in case the nurses missed anything. Are doctors reviewing this?

Sorry to pepper you with questions and I probably wouldn't be up all night biting my nails over it, but I'd have lots of questions I'd want answered to my satisfaction if I were you.

One of my baby's heart rate had decels during a NST, but it was only when I was laying flat on my back. As soon as I layed on my left, it went up. However, I did stay overnight to prove that theory!

Make sure you're in a good position when you're having your NSTs.

This is how I feal, I am not sure if it is a Doc. or not but the guy who is over all the ultra sounds is the one who was wanting me to keep coming in and the one that looked and the results. The NST is in the same office as the ultra sounds. All they do is call my OB and tell him there recomondations and he go's with it. When I go in on Friday I am going to demand some more information but when I did talk to the Ultra sound person that came in to quick see me after I got my first NST and then a ultrasound right after said that he would like me to come in the next day and he was not sure of things yet. Then today the lady doing the test said they need me to keep coming back so they can get a bigger picture of things. She didn't know what to think of what is going on. That was the recomondation of a Dr. Ball (don't know who he is)
So I didn't get any thing out of any one. My OB is always in Surgeries on Wensdays and go's to another clinic about 40 min.'s away on Thursdays so I won't get any answers any way till then. I tried to do some investigating on the internet but not getting much there either.
I am just going to do a lot of praying that everything will be good.
thanks,
Shawnya
