If you were serving a strata (w/ bread, spinach, provolone, eggs, milk, cheddar, seasonings) for dinner what would you serve with it? Or would you serve it alone? It has two packages of frozen spinach in it, so plenty of veggies.

What about with salmon patties? What are your favorite side dishes?

And turkey tetrazzini?

Thanks!

When I make frittatas for dinner (similar dish with egg, potato, lots of greens and usually bacon , etc) I usually still serve a nice mixed greens salad. I think the crunchy raw salad is a nice complement. I also add a bit of sour cream or yogurt at a condiment to the frittata.

If I make it for breakfast, I usually have fresh fruit, yogurt with fruit, or toast with jam on the side.

salmon patties -- spinach or other greens, with brown rice or couscous, and of course a sauce (lemon mayo, etc.)

Tetrazzini, maybe a green veggie, and we have it over noodles, but it's pretty much a meal in itself, IMO.

baked sweet potato and brown rice are my standards...

what about roasted veggies? cut up whatever (butternut squash, onion, carrot, sweet pototo, etc) drizzle with orange juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. cook 45 min at 450.

Dunno what a strata is, so can't help you there!

salmon patties - green beans, spinach/kale, broccoli, zucchini. I don't usually do a starchy side, but if I did I would probably go for brown rice, couscous, or sweet potato fries

turkey tetrazzini - salad with crisp veggies to complement the softer tetrazinni

I made a strata today for us to eat for breakfast during the week. I had a piece for lunch after it was done, and had it w/ salad . I like quiche with a salad too.

I've also done salmon, quiche, and salad together too so I don't think salmon patties would be weird
