Has anyone used/seen Mama's Bliss (like the gripe water maker Baby's Bliss) Morning Sickness Magic? I took it last time I was pregnant and it worked REALLY well BUT I miscarried those babies. I'm hesitant to take anything that I used last time (like the tea I drank, I used to drink coffee but only like 1 cup/day) things like that. The ingredients are :

b6 - 25mg
Folic acid 200mg
Ginger Root Extract 50mg
Red Raspberry Leaf 4:1 Extract 20 mg

My morning sickness is usually very severe (needed zofran the last couple of times) so I would prefer something more natural. I'm gun shy, however. Thoughts/experience/advice welcomed. Thank you.

I also avoid RRL until the 3rd trimester...

I love ginger for controlling morning sickness, though. Pickled ginger, or raw ginger is best. I've been drinking ginger tea with success.

hope all goes well.

Yes! Ginger tea is amazing. I've even resorted to swallowing ginger that's been chopped into pill-sized pieces. And ginger candies (Gin-Gins) are always plentiful in my bag.

in CA I found a ginger "candy" made for motion sickness, but it was great for pregnancy. It wasn't sugary at all... it had like a superhero ginger guy on the box, but I don't know the name of it and haven't found it yet here in OR...

But chopping/mincing ginger and steeping it in hot water works well, too...

I'll add another vote for ginger tea!
I like the lemon ginger the best, but raspberry ginger is also very good.
Just a side question, but is raspberry tea to be avoided the same as raspberry leaf?

No. Check the ingredients, and as long as there's no rrl, you shoula be a-okay.

Yes, these are called Gin Gins, and they are made by the Ginger People... are these them?

See, I hate, hate, hate the taste (and smell) of ginger even when I'm not pregnant. But I *do* think it was the ginger in the tablet that calmed my stomach. So, I may have to suck it up or just get straight ginger capsules and see how that works.

I've never used it so not sure about it. I agree with the other posters though about not using RRL til later. I've heard from the get go not to use it during the early days of pregnancy.
Ginger didn't really work for me. I froze ginger ale every night in a pitcher with DD2 and chipped away at it during the day though. That was tasty.

b6 has rocked for me. Prior to this pregnancy I just sorta lived through it since nothing worked for me. I got the 100mg ones and take one any time I'm starting to feel icky and it works within 10 mintues. It's been awesom. I don't pair it with the unisom though.

I usually have pretty severe MS starting in week 8/10ish. So far, I'm only in week 6, but I've had some issues with MS. I've been putting a tablespoon of liquid chlorophyll in 16oz of water and drinking it. It's got a 'slight' mint flavor, very very mild - and it's working so far! We'll have to see once this pregnancy gets farther along it my luck holds out

I've got a jar of preserved ginger in the fridge, how much do you use to make ginger tea? I might also make some peperkarker (sweedish ginger biscuit and sold in Ikea) as they're quite gingery. Right now I feel nausous after eating, if I don't eat I get tired though, but I know food makes me feel crappy, not really bad, but bad enough and it lasts all the time.

If anyone's interested there's a tv programme with an ethnobotonist (you learn new words every day), and he has a recipie for crystalised ginger for nausea here
