Ok, mine kicked in this week right on time at 6 weeks. Who else feels perpetually hungover? No vomiting for me but I am miserable and having a hard time mommying my other 4. I've had 2 acupuncture sessions and I'm hoping that 3 will be the charm and I'll be magically cured and not have to wait this out till 12 weeks like I normally do. Also found some orange fizzy drink at Trader Joe's yesterday that's making my tummy happy. What are you doing during your misery and how are we going to get through this!?!?!?!

It has set in for me too. I've only got one LO to look after, but I'm trying to keep up with work too. With DD, it really let up around 10 weeks, so I'm already counting down the days. I'm calling in the reinforcements (my mom and little brothers) and taking a leave of absence from housework until further notice.

Forcing down food and fluids whenever possible and taking my vitamins is helping a bit. If I can eat something by the afternoon, I have a much better evening and wake up better the next day.

I found a fizzy orange drink that makes me feel better too!

I'll have to look for this drink - I think I might have it - the tangerine soda?

My first I had HG, so I was vomiting so bad for 26 weeks, I had to have drugs. This time not so bad, just queasy all day and tired. I waited too long to eat overnight and been sick all day. I have a 3 year old and I feel like I am not doing enough with her, she seems okay and not bored, but I just want to lay in bed. I am so glad I don't have HG symptoms this time though, this I can manage, although it bothers me. I don't want to eat, but I know I have to or else it will be worse.

oh...and I really need to switch to the crystal deodorant or something because this baby powder stuff I am using now makes me want to puke whenever I smell it!

I just had to make a switch, too. Found that Tom's makes a citrus roll-on now. So great smelling! I was not able to enjoy the calendula at all anymore...

I'm not quite 5 weeks yet, but I had a really bad day on Wednesday. I didn't drink nearly enough water all day, I didn't eat much, and ended up running to my car in a downpour. Came home, and pretty soon I was feeling faint and the sounds were fading and I had to call my husband to help me to the bed to lie down. Drank THREE GLASSES of water and ate some cheese and crackers, and a bit later threw up some of it. Felt great afterwards, though. And I've been feeling mostly fine ever since.

I guess I was asking for it, but this is still so confusing to me because last pregnancy I didn't feel queasy until 5 weeks, and even then I didn't throw up until 7 weeks. Maybe this isn't real morning sickness yet, just a message from my body to Remember You're Pregnant Now So Stop Doing Stupid Stuff. Or it could be that "every pregnancy is different" thing.

I'm thinking of getting nausea bracelets. Anyone know where I can get them?

Are you talking about the Sea Bands? I got mine at Walgreens last time. Loved them. Haven't been sick enough to drag them out yet this time - and hoping I don't!

I think it is the tangerine soda! I drank it all so I don't remember.

My acupuncture magnets on my wrist seem to be working. I'm ready to step up my visits to 2 a week instead of 1 because it's really helping. I'm also finding that the nights I go to bed, late I feel worse the next day.
