I can't wrap my head around my morning sickness. It's so bad I can't eat (and thus get a headache from low blood sugar!). I took a few pregnancy tests already, but they're negative. One might have a hint of a line but my eyesight isn't great and it looks more like an evap to me anyhow.

If I WAS pregnant, the last time we had intercourse was 12/20. And seeing that I've had this bizarre "morning sickness" since Christmas Day (12/25), pregnancy is not likely the culprit since embryos implant around day 7, right?

What else could this be? I feel horrible! I can barely get down a few nibbles of a cracker before I'm gagging. I've never had acid reflux and I ate something with protien at around 4am to combat this, but blegh, I feel awful. Any ideas?

That seems pretty fast to have nausea.

Do you have any other symptoms of high thyroid out of curiosity? I wason meds for hypothyroid, and went borderline hyperthyroid, and I had the "morning sickness" type nausea for 6 weeks (until they retested me). I was only on the border of being high, but the doctor thinks I just need to be more tightly controlled. It's just a thought since mine was exactly like morning sickness.

Get your blood sugars checked.

I had a bad hypoglycemia cycle going for years, where I couldn't eat because I was so nauseated, but not eating made it worse.

I learned eventually that I cannot wait any length of time to eat once I wake up. Do you eat right away?

I had my thyroid checked a few mos ago and it was well within normal range.

I did eat right away- while still in bed... but had a hard time getting a few bites down even.

I'm wonderinf if it is my gallbladder as well.. I was in the ER a few months ago also because of horrible ovarian pain and they did bloodwork and the doc came in and jabbed me in the gallbladder with his hand (expecting it to hurt.. it didn't...) because some enzymes in my blood were a teensy bit elevated and my white blood cell count was high. They then did an ultrasound of my gallbladder and it was a-ok :)

Could it maybe be that I'm nursing almost all night long?

It could be a bug. I just went through a bout of morning-sickness (that turned into most-of-the-day sickness because I couldn't eat!!) and then it just went away after a few days. I had never felt like that except when pregnant, but it would've been way too soon for it to be pregnancy-related nausea (like, a couple days past conception if we had conceived). My mom was sick & throwing up the next day -- and she never throws up -- so I assume we both had a virus.

Thanks for the info! It is possible it is a bug. My oldest DD had a slight stomach bug (vomited once and had one bout of diarrhea) on 12/19. She got it from the kids upstairs, who had it the week before.

I feel totally fine right now and have felt fine for the majority of the day, it's just the morning that kicks my butt :(

Right now I feel like I'm coming down with a cold.. runny nose, sore throat.. :( I hope my immune system decides to do something about all of this!

I feel like I am sickly pregnant if I don't eat enough protein or greens. Good thing there are cheapo dollar store tests as I would be on the street from the amount of test I go through.

And just in case, congrats if you are pregnant! (and congrats if you arent and dont want to be:))

Lol, I keep a big pack of internet cheapies in the bathroom. Heck no, I'm not going to spend $12 on one test, lol! (Btw, not pregnant lol).

Anyways, I got hit with the full on flu big time today. I think my body was just trying to fight it and couldn't fight anymore. Morning sickness is gone though.. Lol!
