I saw this pattern at one of my LYS's and even though my mom knows I have it, I'm thinking of making one up for her

Bathtime Blossoms

I'm working the swirl one right now and even though I've had to frog it back several times, it's pretty fast knitting.

I'm also making her up some ball-band mop covers too.

I'm just making my Mom boring old socks, but with that yarn that has jojoba oil and aloe in it, she's got terribly dry feet. I'll also throw in a few of those delicious little candy wrapper sachets from One skein. I'm making them in alpaca/silk yarn and can't stop!

The mop cover is cool! I wonder if it would work well knitted with microspun yarn...

I wanted to knit my mom a shawl but I have never knit lace before. I think I will buy her the teapot she has wanted forever and knit the shawl for christmas.

nausicaamom-I really like that bathtime set! If the pattern wasn't sold out I would have done that. Would you post pictures when you are done, please?

I'm making my mom some socks from my own pattern using Sockotta in color 14

I just cast on for Amulet from magknits for my mom. I am using the yummiest silk yarn left over from my dream swatch. Mine will be bigger, because it's not sock weight, but that's ok with me. Anybody have ideas for little treasures to fill it with?
