ok, so i was feeling some movement really early... like a couple weeks ago, and now it feels like its dropping off a bit. It's harder to feel and i'm like, *really* on the look-out for it.

how often are you all feeling movement? i'm at 15 weeks right now (as in *just* 15 weeks) so i know its still early to feel real significant movement, but this is when i can start getting all neurotic, because i have something to gauge. can anyone else relate?

btw- at my appt. last week we heard the heartbeat and it sounded great and super-strong, so i'm not really all *that* worried... but its just one of those things.

Kelly... I'm like you, I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow. I don't feel movement every night but I'm most likely to notice a little flutter if I'm really relaxed in the evening. Some nights I don't seem to quite going, so I don't notice the flutters. I thought I felt my first flutter at 9 weeks but it's been sporadic since then. I did get to feel some nice little flutters last night in bed as I dropped off to sleep <beautific smile> and that was really nice. The pregnancy has seemed a little unreal for some reason so I'm looking forward to feeling the movements daily!

I could feel the baby moving away from the doppler when we checked for the heartbeat at 12w1d and 13w2d. It was really weird at 12 weeks because I could feel that the baby was moving but the doppler wasn't picking up the heartbeat! Talk about playing with your head... but I did feel the baby moving a bit again the next week when the doppler picked up the hb for just a few seconds.

start counting movements til you are feeling it all the time and have been on a regualr
basis.

I felt my first flutters really early (10 weeks?) but since the first two days of feeling them, didn't feel anything for a VERY long time...

But then, just the other day, I felt some fluttering again... it feels a little different, but it was definitely fluttering. None since then, tho. I think it's too early for it to be a regular thing for me, yet!

Oooh, I the flutters! It's so exciting. I started feeling them every once in a while around 14 weeks maybe. At least that's when I could tell what they were for sure. I am 16 weeks today and it hasn't been too regular a thing but when they do come I get all gushy. I'm ready to feel some nice and strong kicking too!

I think I felt my first flutters around 11 weeks. Then nothing for a couple weeks. Then a few more flutters. Now nothing for a week or so. I keep poking at my abdomen hoping to get little bun to wiggle. I'll be so happy when little bun is happily bouncing on my bladder and kicking my liver.

I actually have a doppler at home. : With ds I listened for the hb just about every day. This time, I'm being better. I'm only listening every 2-3 days.

I stress out and get anxious really easily, so I figure it's better for my kiddos to chance the effects of the doppler than the known effects of crazy, wacked-out hormones. Besides, ds turned out just fine. He's way ahead developmentally. It could't have hurt him too much.

Quirk!
Im with you!! everytime I think I feel movement it always turns out to be gas. Im fairly thin so I thought I would be feeling lots but nothing so far. Usually after intercouse I think she gets a little mad and seems to ball up with her butt in the air so I definitely think everything is ok but some good kicks would be nice.

So last night after I sneezed I might have felt something - kind of like a very light pang. Maybe like if someone flicked you very very softly? I've actually felt that a couple of time but not thought much of it- just thougth it was tummy rumbles but maybe, just maybe it is baby?

Quirky- That sounds like your round ligament stretching. I know if I move suddenly, I feel a little pang, kind of like a rubber band or something.

Last night as I lay awake not sleeping from about 3:30-5:30am, I felt a whole series of flutters on my belly. I think maybe the little bun moves around a lot right now, and I can only feel it, if it's kicking on the anterior of my uterus kind of high up.

Interestingly, with my DS the first movements I felt were fluttery - but with this pg I have only felt thunks - i.e., actual kicks. They just feel "littler" than the kicks I felt with DS later on. It's hard to explain - a lot of them *could* be gas - but on the day I was 15 weeks exactly, I felt the baby kick a tea-cup I was resting on my tummy - no way could that have been gas.

I think I may have felt a flutter a couple days ago, but it is hard to tell. DS was never a kicker, more of a scratcher and stretcher so I never even got those good kicks last time.

No movement yet here! But I didn't feel #1 until about 20wks and #2 until about 18wks and I'm only 13w3d sooooo I bet I have a while to go. I wish I could feel the baby! : I'm not chubby - just your average mom size... so I don't know what the deal is?
Oh well, ....
But I do so love the feeling of baby kicks! Until near the end of pregnancy when you get a little foot in the lung/ribs all the time! But, I always miss it once they're born!

I have felt movement just a very few times. For some reason I have not felt the "bubbles" or "flutters". What have felt just feels like a small kick. I am 16 weeks. I can't wait until I start feeling it more regularly!

I *think* I've been feeling it at night for a few days now (since 14 weeks). Actually it's usually when I'm on the computer and my demi panel jeans are digging right in as I lean over. Can't confirm this yet, and it's not followed by gas, but excited to know for sure in the next few weeks!

I am 14 weeks now and i have been feeling "something" but i cant say certainly that it was the baby i was feeling. Even though yesterday i felt a little kick that I swear was the baby. Even with my first i didnt feel flutter-type movements, it was always more of a feeling of an actual movement inside of me or a kick. I think with my first i felt it around 18 weeks. I am really skinny so I thought i would it feel tons of stuff by now but im still impatiently waiting. I cant wait for the baby to kick the heck out of me! I really love it :)

i've also been feeling movement very sporadically. (every couple of weeks). but it was also feelings that may have been gas...i can't say with absolute certainty that that was baby. however, yesterday morning as i sat in church, i felt repeated movements, not exactly fluttering, but it was in nearly the same spot...i'm certain it wasn't gas. anyway i was so excited, i couln't concentrate for the rest of the service. we heard the heartbeat today for hte first time, and i definetely feel more pregnant now! (not that the growing belly didn't make it real )

anyway, you'll be feeling consistent movement soon enough. have patience!
