Just wondering if anyone is feeling baby move regularly yet? I don't remember exactly when I started feeling baby move with my other pregnancies, but I'm pretty sure it was around 15 weeks with my last. I am 18 weeks tomorrow and I have felt a couple of movements over the past few weeks, but hardly anything in the last week or so that I've noticed.

I am so with you. I don't even feel pregnant except that I'm fatter in the middle. I have hardly felt this baby move. I go for an ultrasound on Thursday and I'll be 20 weeks and I'm hoping to see baby moving a lot so I'm reassured of what I don't feel.

My baby seems to be most active at night when I am trying to sleep. I think I felt the first movements around 12 weeks. I have gone for several days (even recently) without feeling movement....it is always reassuring when you do feel the baby moving around

I'm 20 weeks and only in about the past week or so have I felt the baby move fairly consistently (as in several times a day, pretty much every day).

This is my second pg so I know pretty well what is gas and what is baby... most of the time

I love the feeling of the baby moving. Its what I miss the most after the baby is born!

I've just started feeling some semi-consistent movements in the last week or so.... not quite every day, but often in the evenings or if I bend over funny and squish the poor thing. lol I'm 16w. This seems really early to me, since with both my previous pregnancies I didnt feel baby until more like 20w! I had anterior placentas with both though, so I wonder if this one is posterior and so not in the way. I started feeling what I felt might be baby but might still be gas starting around 12 weeks.

I feel like a bad person/mother, but I STILL have no idea what this "movement" you people speak of feels like. Those descriptions of: like gas, but not; like a goldfish swimming around; like butterflies; a fluttery feeling, etc.... are NOT helpful to me. I swear I'm not going to know what I'm feeling until the kid is popping out of me!

I'm feeling movement semi-regularly. Every few days I get thumped but mostly what I feel is still goldfishy in nature. I think it was around 18 weeks or so with #1 when I started feeling real, honest-to-goodness kicks, so hopefully soon baby'll start booting me

Awww, don't feel like a bad mom! Everyone is different and with the first baby it really is hard to tell. I had a friend who didn't feel her first move until 22-24 weeks! Hang in there, mama, you'll feel the wee bean soon

I know what you mean! I feel like I'm going through round 2 of cluelessness. My first pregnancy I felt her exactly on my 18th week and I was in bed laying on my back reading. It was the most odd sensation in the world like bubbles popping right above my pelvis. You may have felt your babe or think that you have but there will be that one time when it will be so unmistakable and you''ll want to tell everyone! And it will happen way before 40 weeks

I remember feeling that way too, with my DD. One day you'll sit there and think, you know, I have felt that funny feeling like four times this week.... I wonder if it's the baby? Even with this pregnancy, I kept trying to brush a bug off of my stomach. I even looked under my shirt, convinced I had a bug against my skin. But it was the baby
: and I've been pregnant before! And by 30 or so weeks, you'll probably be able to SEE the baby move! I remember my childless co-worker telling me that I looked like something out of Alien, the way you could see DD's legs/arms stretching, kicking and poking out of my stomach! FWIW, I am now 17 weeks and just starting to feel the baby relatively regulary but I still go days with out feeling him/her!
