We are moving to Upper Saddle River, NJ, right by rte 17 next week from Fair Lawn.
Any mama's around here?
I'd love it if anyone knew a good midwife and info for good area for kids (dd is almost 2yo) - playgrounds, parks etc. as well as any good restaurants, stores.

Well, I live in Fair Lawn and my kids attended day care in Upper Saddle River when they were small. The area you are moving to has a lot of great stuff. The library is beautiful and there is a park near it.

USR is beautiful. Anne Margolis is a great midwife in Suffern, not too far. www.imamidwives.com. Werfel Chiropractic is also in Suffern. www.rocklandchiropractic.com. Dr. Zatz in Nyack is a great pediatrician. And there's a great park near Ramapo College called Ramapo Ridge, which you could probably google. Not sure about the Bergen County but the HMN in Rockland is awesome; they're always having great events and speakers. Hope that helps!
