I am so sorry you are in pain. I have been there myself! I don't think that it was from MSG in my case, (more a combo of hormones and stress) -- but I think my solutions could still work for you.

* Drink some caffeine. A shot of espresso is perfect. (American coffee, not so good. Especially if it's been sitting aorund)
* Go for a run or do something aerobic.

These too things will widen the blood vessels and get blood flowing again. They work best though when you first feel the the symptoms coming on. If you are already hard-core into the headache, the caffeine may help, but the aerobics could be too painful.

Start chugging water NOW. I have horrible migraines, and MSG is a trigger too.

YOu need to flush it out as fast as you can. Also try the caffiene.

Another trick, put your feet in hot water, and an ice pack on your head. My neuro reccommends this, and it really does help.

add lemon to the water for the nauseuosnes. Or flat coke.

have someone massage your feet, an rub the point between your thumb and forefinger.
