I'm about to get my BH soon, and have been wondering about short trips to the store or post office. After practice, is it easy to quickly put it on and run in someplace?

I think so.

The fastest for me is a pouch sling but a MT is totally doable for running errands and baby on the back is probably the best for the post office.

I just leave it on and pop dd2 in and out

They get easier to put on the more you use them. But if DS is only going to be in it for a few minutes then he goes in the pouch. But anything more than a few minutes, in the MT he goes.

It definitely takes practice, but I prefer it now for the quickest trips to the post office or bank or anything. I just feel totally hands free in it, the pouch never made me feel that way.

I leave the bottom strap (waist) tied on and then just tie him up when we get there.. it gets easier and faster!
