I didn't ever see mine with my daughter. never had an real labor symptoms with her either. I was induced and the day of my induction I had not dilated at all.<br><br>
Anyway, today my plug started coming out in pieces. it was not what I thought it would be! LOL We were about to eat dinner and after I saw the plug, I lost my appetite. So far I've had several big clumps. I'm feeling crampy. Oh, also, my cervix is easier to reach now and I can feel a change even since yesterday. It's more open and it's super soft. Tonight I got really nesty and finished up a bunch of stuff around the house. I think my baby is going to be coming pretty soon. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

It's a good sign! Of course, you can be "unplugged" for weeks, but with your other signs, I'd say you're moving in the right direction!<br><br>

i never saw mine with my daughter either even though i went into labor spontaneously. i did have a tiny bit of pink-tinged mucus right before my water broke but never anything major.<br><br>
tonight i've had some big chunks of plug though! kinda cool to see. i'm not getting too excited but between that and regular contractions all day yesterday i'm going to say there is definitely SOME work being done. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

well i've continued to lose big chunks of plug, now with blood...wondering if that's at all a sign? this baby is so much trickier than my first! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue"> i feel more like a first timer this time than i did last, wondering what things might mean.<br><br>
contractions are mild this morning, but present. i would ignore it all except i really want my sister at the birth and she's out of town...trying to figure out if she should come home for the weekend or not.

With both my last 2 girls, I either went into labor or water broke w/in 24hrs of the lightly blood-tinged mucus.

woah mama! How far away is your sister? I'd be surprised if you made it thru the weekend...with blood and the fact that you are continuing to show signs, not stopping and replugging or contrax going totally away....I would say you're pretty close!

so consistent full on bloody show since around 1, no denying it. m/w is betting on tonight, at latest tomorrow...says she's never really seen bloody show without a baby within a couple of days. i went really fast with my first when i hit active labor so even though ctx are mild currently sis is on her way.<br><br>
this is sooooooooooooooooo surreal.
