It could be, but don't get your hopes up! Both signs can happen weeks or hours before labour commences. Good luck!

Yeah, what she said. Labor could be coming soon, but maybe not. The mucus plug will regenerate itself if your labor doesn't start within 24 hours of losing it, but it doesn't sound like you lost it all, just a bit.

Yes because all babies come out sooner or later.
It could be hours, days or weeks though

Timely question. I know it means nothing (though I wish it did). But I just wanted to add that I *thought* I lost my mucus plug about a week before having DS. But this morning I KNOW I lost my mucus plug. So I don't know what it was I was seeing with DS.

This morning there was no confusing that that's what it was. A big ball of mucus. Looked exactly like what you'd blow out of your nose, only a lot more of it. Yuck.

It is all part of the warm up...yup..could be hours, days weeks...the mucous plug can regenerate itself, so not a particularly good indicator..but it is all helping your body get ready, try and get some rest... you will need your energy sooner or later..
