My 3.5 month old has had really mucusy poop for like 6 weeks at least. At first I thought it was the formula we were supplementing with. But I removed that and its still bad. Idk if its from him drooling? Maybe a gluten allergy? I doubt dairy. Because I'm lactose intolerant so I have very little dairy in my diet, but I suppose it could be.
Any body had an infant with super mucusy poop that could shed some light?

It could be gluten. My DS had irregular, often mucusy stools in addition to excema. Both went away when I cut out gluten. Sorry I don't have any other insight for you.

But its not supposed to be that mucusy. This is my 5th baby and I've never seen poop like this!
It seems to be improving with probiotics...

I would get his stool checked for parasites.

One rare cause of mucus in the stool is cystic fibrosis, but in this case he would also have common respiratory infections.

I think, the stool in lactose intolerance would be more likely watery than mucusy.
