Who got what at the mudpie auctions? I just woke up and i won the bananas and the green apple. Now I can't decide weither I want AIO's or fitteds. I have only ever had fitteds from her, but I would like to try the AIO's. Any one have mudpie fitteds and AIO's that can help me out with my decesion.

IMO you can't go wrong with either! I have several of Steph's fitteds and AIO's and I love them both. Why not get one of each?
yeah that is what I was thinking but i have a lot of steph's fitteds so if I really fall in love with the aio i will kick myself for not getting both of them aio. oh the diaper decessions we mammas have to face. :LOL
Ooh one more tip! Get an extra soaker for the AIO. IME the soakers work so well that I can often get another use out of the AIO if I just switch out the soaker. The shell works great as a cover too.
thanks! i think i am going to get both of them in AIO's and I will be sure to get extra soakers for both.
Am I the only person out there that just doesn't like the whole friut thing?

I
my Mudpie AIOs. I only have the older style fitteds.

I LOVE LOVE my mudpie AIO's. They are my faves along with BB right now.

I got the cherries and pineapples!

I have no idea what to get - am so new at this! I need some AIOs, so I think I will try them, but I've never had a Mudpie before - what's better, aplix or side snaps? What are hidden snaps?

I'm also looking at her website and I'm going to get at least one of them in a small size...what's the difference between a cover with a snap-in soaker vs. a serged one? So confusing! :LOL
Please help a newbie out - too many decisions!

I like snaps better then aplix espically when it comes to my mudpies. I only have fitteds so I think I am going to get both of mine in AIO's. I loved the pinapple one to but had to limit myself to two.
I got pears, nectarines and kiwi! I already have a plum and a pineapple AIO from her. I have a strawberry from LF too, so I think my fruit salad should be pretty well rounded out now

I'm going for all AIO's with extra soakers
I have 4 of her AIO's now and they are by far my favorite diaper ever.

My (I mean Lauren's) small cover AIO just happens to be clean, so I'll get a picture for you.

Ok, Lauren's is a small AIO/cover, side snaps, quick-dry soaker.

Ben's is a large AIO, side snaps, tri-fold soaker.

Thanks Nicole! They're so pretty!

So far, it sounds like more people like their side snaps...

And I guess Lauren's can be either an AIO or a cover (i.e., can go with another fitted or PF)?

And I'm so sorry, but I'm looking at these pics and yes, they look different, but I don't know what that really means in terms of, um, performance, I guess. Does one take longer to dry? Is one better than the other for heavy wetters? Is one more trim than the other?
Yeah, Lauren's can be used as either a cover or an AIO. It's a little trimmer, IMO, than the regular AIO. Really though, you could use the regular AIO as a cover. My ds is such a heavy wetter though, I don't think it would work for him. Hmm, maybe I'll experiment later. I think the drying time is the same. I prefer the tri-fold soaker for my heavy wetter.

I loved her side snap dipes until I tried a side aplix. Now I like them both equally. I have both her AIOs and fitted dipes and I think you can't go wrong with either. They're both really trim yet still very absorbent. I prefer her quick dry (two piece) soaker simply for the trimness. For us, the trifold tends to be a bit bulkier but I think if you have a heavy wetter it might be a better option. JMHO

I got the the orange print and am so excited to finally try a Mudpie...now it's decision time- fitted vs. AIO? These are the kind of decisions I LIKE to make. :LOL

And next I start to wonder who else won the auctions, I'll know exactly where to come!

Amy
i didn't really dig the fruit thing all that much. i did bid (i lost) for the bananas . i've LOVED the mudpie auctions at midday though. i scored my one and only mudpie (cow print) there
