I have a 13 month old dd. I nurse her three times a day. I make all her baby food using the Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron. I would like to give a multi-vitamin. Any thoughts? Any new research out there? Also, multi-vitamin suggestions and/or what NOT to use as a multi-vitamin. Your thoughts would be so helpful.

:

You really want my opinion?

I don't believe in supplementing EXCEPT with natural food type things like Cod Liver Oil, probiotics, and the likes.

Multivitamins could create and imbalance, since we don't really know all about them and exactly what we need at what stage and age.

Money spent on healthy, organic food is wiser IMO. OOPS, I just saw that you already do that.

I see you are not vaccinating, that was actually my # 1 suggestion for a healthy life.

The only one left in my bag is - avoid abx at all costs (and the ped LOL).

Thank you so much for your advice. I will look into supplementing with other things that you mentioned.

NO WAY will I ever vax my children. Getting my husband on board with that is difficult.

I have been through a couple of peds and am never satisfied. We have to be our children's health advocates and not rely on them for correct treatments.

I assume you feel the same way about multi-vitamins and adults (you)?
