I'm so on board for homeschooling. I cant wait and neither can the kids. Our plan is to take 6mth to a year to decompress and learn more about each kids learning style and the ways to benefit them the most when it comes to their learning.

So, how do I put that in the homeschooling form/app that I have to hand into my province?

Heres the form:

I get easily overwhelmed with stuff like this. I'm sure it's all very easy, but I get all frazzled.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or a kick in the pants?

Are your kids in school now? How old are they?

Looking at the forms, it looks like they're extremely flexible. The suggestions under "Child-centered curriculum" are what I would go with (tweak them a little bit for your family).

Yes, they're still in school - we're just finishing off this school year. They are 13, 8 and 6.

They are flexible, arent they? I think I'm just panicky when it comes to gov filing and such. I just dont want to fill it out "wrong" or something.

I think you'll be ok.

You can even talk to the kids about things that they're interested in. Let's say your 13 year old likes skateboarding, for example:

Social Studies: Read biographies of famous skateboarders. Learn about the areas where they live and compete.
Phys. Ed: Skateboarding.
Science: Learn about physics as it relates to skateboarding.
