I'm getting frustrated trying to wear my 3 mo. old! And I NEED to because I have a 2 year old dd, and I'm always running after her.
He was great in the mei tai as a newborn, but now he can't go in froggy style anymore because he kicks his legs out the bottom, and he's not big enough to have his legs stick out both sides. Plus he lacks the head control to be really up like that, and he can't stand leaning his head on me anymore, it makes him mad.
He was great in my pouch sling, but he's starting to feel confined about laying down in it if he's not going to sleep. I try to pick him up a bit in it so that he's almost sitting up with his arms out, but he still gets fussy about it. I tried the hip position, but I don't think he's quite strong enough for it yet. Is there another position in the pouch sling that I could try with him? I know there's that "legs crossed facing out" one, but I've tried that with both my kids, and I can't imagine how that's comfortable folding their bodies in half like that, and of course they didn't like it either. Any tips?
