Oh, I'm so excited. I have an aunt who is retired who knits beautiful sweaters for the whole family. Everyone gets a new one for Christmas each year. We've always thought she could put them in a show or something, they are so gorgeous and she can do any design you'd want. So, I casually (with an ulterior motive, of course) told her about wool soakers and that she could make a fortune making them. Her response was "What are they? Could you get a pattern? Do you want some?? " : So, I've got my own custom source now! Oh yeah! I've always admired the beautiful knit soakers but never ever imagined I'd own one because I just can't pay those kinds of prices. So, now my aunt's gonna hook me up, for free!
I really wrote this to share my good news with people who would understand, but I admit maybe I am gloating just a little bit.

Gloat on girl! I just got my neighbor to do the same thing! I'm waiting for her to do a Faux Tiny Birds for me. She used to knit lots of barbie clothes, sweaters, you name it and so she is going to make me soaker shorts. I buy the yarn and pay her a small fee. But I still want more rumpknits!Congrats to you! You really have to corner those knitters. i belong to a knitting guild, but have had little time to really pick up more to do my own.

My sister is just finishing a crochet soaker for Nathan and my MIL is breaking out here knitting needles too. I sent her an easy patter and she is getting yarn this week!
