My Babywearing Shirt

So, I'm wearing my "babywearing for our future" shirt today adn my DH is making fun of it! He said it's sad! He wants to know if the future was so bad when everyone just used strollers

.

At least he didn't make fun of DS's "it don't mean a thing if you ain't got a sling!" But I think I'll hear it again when I bring out DS's CD shirt (my mom may be crunchy but my diapers aren't!

So everyone tell me how cool I am for advocating babywearing before I cry!

I think its very cool!

I have been buying plain t-shirts and customising them with advocacy slogans for me and DD. I think I need a babywearing one now.

I have to make my own b/c advocacy t-shirts are impossible to find in the UK. Sob, sob.

That doesn't make sense. This is the "future." We are the products of a hands-off culture that forced independence too young on their children. Disconnected society full of alienated, overweight, drug addicted people.

Strollers are not evil. Overuse of them along with bottles, pacifiers, early solids, cribs, playpens, swings, baby buckets, exersaucers, etc, are.

Feel free to quote me next time he gets on your case.

Yup you are cool. If you were a dork for wearing that shirt I'd be a dork for Carrying around my bright yellow bag with that same logo and phrase on it from them. LOL. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and bring it everywhere.. well not this weekend, I overused it and now it needs a good bath LOL.

Myself and my children are walking advocacy signs. Dh laughs at us all the time. My baby has about 10 different shirts from Granola threads. My other kids have at least two or three ranging from pro breastfeeding, extended nursing, tandem nursing, etc. I think it's a great way to get the word out there. I didn't even know there were baby wearing shirts! I'll have to get one!
