I had a baby a week ago, and for some odd reason this popped up 2 or 3 days postpartum. It's not my stomach that hurts, it's my belly button. It's literally painful to the touch- that and a tiny area underneath, but nowhere else in the area. The lochia's OK, so I doubt it's postpartum-related, but I don't know. Oddly, it's ONLY painful when touched- nothing otherwise.

It poses a problem while nursing etc. because if anything touches my belly button, including tiny feet or hands, it HURTS.

I'd rather not go to a doctor at this point, no energy to deal with the homebirth flak.

Any insight?
