Beautiful. Congratulations!
Great video!!! How long was your labor? Your midwife seemed frantic trying to get stuff together! lol

How many people did you have there? Who was video taping? I thought it was cute hearing him talk to his wife (girlfriend) on the phone!

How wonderful that you were able to hold her for so long in the tub! I was wondering why you didnt try to nurse her right away?

Congrats! You did a great job and she is beautiful!

My labor was 4 1/2 hours from the first crampy contractions until she was born. Only the last hour was really intense though.

Yes, she was a little thrown off guard. If you remember the timeline: she arrived at 7:45 and baby was born at 8:00, so only 15 minutes. And we had nothing ready beforehand (not a good idea lol) so people were asking where things were while I was laboring (also not a good idea lol). I had my husband, MIL, FIL, daughter, SIL, and my pastor there. He was the one filming from far away then my husband took over for the closeups. He was talking to his wife, who was also invited. She was asking how far I was progressed and he didn't know lol. She ended up not even making it on time, as well as my midwife's apprentice, my mom, and 2 other friends from church didn't make it.

I stayed in the tub until I started getting crampy and feeling like I was going to need to deliver the placenta. I actually didn't nurse her right then because I wanted a little privacy! Like that makes any sense!
