What on earth? Has this happened to anyone else? I've brewed 2 batches of chai kombucha before, and let them go a tad too long because they tasted a bit like pickles (vinegary). This one I brewed for 6 days and it was sweet enough for my taste, but has a slight sulfur odor. I drank some anyway and got sulfury burps What could cause this kind of weirdness?

I don't know, but most sources I've read say to not use flavored tea to brew kombucha, because the non-tea ingredients tend to mess things up.

Hmm, some people on this forum say that their chai kombucha tastes amazingly wonderful
