I just found out my sister's husband (and father of a 2 year old boy) had the chance to NOT go to Iraq and he insisted (he has had five operations in the past year & the army thought he shouldn't go, but he convinced them he should) AND my husbands brother is re-upping because of the $$$ incentive. When you add in a 20 year old nephew not going to school & ones coming up behind him (19, 15, 15, 13, 11, 11....) I just feel ill all the time.
