And obviously, so did many other people. <a href="http://www.star-telegram.com/news/columnists/bud_kennedy//story/412497.html" target="_blank">UFO</a><br><br>
My DH is living in Glen Rose, TX - I am moving there at the end of the month. He and a friend of his were driving back from the Walmart in Stephenville when they saw weird objects in the sky. My husband thinks it is some sort of Military practice. He grew up in Glen Rose and he and his family all say when he was a kid you could sit on their back porch and watch laser light shows that no one ever had an answer for. Anyways, my DH didn't really think anything of it until today he saw it on the news. And his friend said he got on MSN yesterday and it was a featured story! LOL.

I heard about this. I LOVED reading about the totally MIB answer of how the lights from two planes overlaid creates an optical illusion for people - and that there was no planes logged to be in that area during that time. Awesome.

I saw a white ball zooming across the sky, IMO faster than an airplane goes, yesterday morning at 7:55 AM CST in Springhill, Louisiana. And I reported it to the National UFO Reporting Center.<br><br>
My 6-year-old son even said, "Mommy, that doesn't look like an airplane."

Wow! Just the other day, I saw that on the news. When I saw your thread title, I wondered to myself, "Hmmm. Wonder if they're in Texas?" Wild!

Oh wow I saw this on the news! What on earth are they telling the people who saw them now? On the news they weren't offering any explaination at all.

I saw a news clip about this yesterday. One of the guys who saw this was in the woods dear hunting. He said that when he saw the lights, his first instinct was to shoot at them but he didn't because he didn't want to start an inter-stellar war <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/ROTFLMAO.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="rotflmao">

When I was younger I saw a UFO and I have no doubts as to what it was. I know it was nothing earthly.<br><br>
This is so cool, and a bit creepy considering the vision from that person in Scotland!

What vision from a person in Scotland? I haven't heard of that, but it sounds intriguing!

It was in the link that OP posted in the first post.<br><div style="margin:20px;margin-top:5px;">

I'm not kidding.<br><br>
She posted this last month on the Web site for Elijah List Ministries, an Oregon-based publishing house that seems like sort of a clearinghouse for end-of-the-world religious prophecy:<br><br>
"I see Texas ablaze and a stunning star, like the star from the East rising over the land. I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying to: 'Watch for cosmic signs and wonders in Texas.'<br><br>
"He said there will be a cosmological phenomenon that scientists cannot explain, and the media will carry as front-line news.</td>

***Mods, I think that's less than 100 words, but if it isn't I apologize and feel free to remove what's needed to get it down to size***

Wow, amazing stuff. I am always interested in sightings like this as I once saw a UFO when I was a teen. A few other people saw the same thing I did and it was in the small town paper with no explanation given. I live in an area with a large amount of military and wouldn't doubt that what I saw was something military related, but I also wouldn't doubt that it wasn't <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

Ok, maybe I should don my flame proof suit, but neither my huband (nor I) believe this was a space ship or anything like that. We sincerely believe this was some sort of covert/secret military practice and the government isn't releasing that info.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/shrug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="shrug"> Who knows though.

Oooooooh, LOVE to hear these stories. DH and I saw *something* a while back, but it went unreported by anyone else, so not sure what it was.<br><br>
How cool for your DH to experience it firsthand. My dad was in the paper way back when I was a little one after seeing strange lights in our hometown. Supposedly, many saw the same.
