I got white PUL hoping I could cover it with a cotton print fabric but I get a lot of wicking at the legs. I put fleece on the inside, PUL hidden under the pretty fabric. I used Gutermann thread, and sewed the elastic to the PUL. Any tips?

Plus does anyone know where to find some cute PUL fabric?

You may want to post this in the diaper forum.

I never buy printed pul only solid from my wholesaler. You could try ebay or over at one of the fabric shops at hc.

The problem is probably that where your cotton and inner layer touch on the outside allows for wicking onto the cotton. does that make sense?

I was just posting on another thread that the only way I see around this is to use FOE around the edges instead of turn/topstich...

You could also make a binding with PUL to use around the outside...

And make sure to use poly thread, not cotton.

I made a bunch of covers and pockets with cotton print over PUL when my son was small, and even with the FOE I got terrible wicking. The only ones that didn't leak were the polyester prints over PUL and solid PUL. So I would say go with the poly prints, I found alot of cute ones at Joannes.
