WE have this dewormer (fenbendazole) ... anyone have any experience with this? How long should I give it to him? Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks, Sarah

You should probably call your vet about that. Fenbendazole's not going to work for all parasites, so you'll want to know what you're dealing with.

Yes, please see the vet. Depends on which worms he has, and what the dewormer works on. You'll also need the correct dosage. I wouldn't mess around with pesticides.

One of our cats recently had worms so we needed to deworm the whole zoo. We went to a pet store and they had a deworm pills, but only for one type of worm (roundworm). Aside from tapeworm, we weren't sure what types we were dealing with, so we went to the vet the next day and got a pill for all types of worms, plus one for the tapeworm that Ramone so obviously had. It was really cheap to deworm all 6 of our pets, we didn't need to take any of them with us to the vet, just had to know how much they weighed for the dosage. So I guess a quick phone call to a vet would be the easiest way of making sure you've got the right stuff.
