So today I had a Dr's appt and you have to park in an indoor multilevel car park. I drove in and started looking for a parking space but there werent any. This is in a small carpark, only around 50 car spaces on each level....

I kept driving up the levels for SERIOUSLY about 15 minutes thinking "My GOD its busy in here!!! I am going to be late!!!" and kept going and going....

Then, at about our 17th (no joke) rotation around, my son (who is FOUR!!!) says "Mommy? Why are you driving around in circles?". Which is when I realized that I had never gone up one single level and had just been driving around level one wondering why it was so packed. Once I went up the ramp (which was heavily disguised under the flashing "RAMP TO LEVEL TWO" sign) I found one right away.

I felt like the biggest idiot ever.

Today my oldest said to me, "The five year old is the one who has to remind you to give your children their milk."

I read in Mothering this month that there isn't any truth to the "pregnancy brain" theory, but I'm not buying it.

I totally don't care if its true or not!!! I'm gonna use that excuse whenever I can, and after I have my baby, then I am going to use the "milk on the brain" excuse for as long as possible, too!

Awesome story - tho, totally cracked me up!
