<p>I have made two new mommy friends since my dd started pre-k this year, and found out in the course of conversations that none of their sons (4 between them) is circ'd! I didn't seek these mamas out in wholistic mom's groups or through other channels that would put me in contact with like-minded (and less likely to circ) moms. Nope, this was just random friends made while chatting in front of the school. <span><img alt="smile.gif" src="http://files.mothering.com/images/smilies/smile.gif"></span> Also, my dearest friends from college have a son, and neither father nor son is circ'd in that family. Add to that my own doctor and his son too... It is so exciting to see that far from being the odd man out, my son will likely have plenty of company!</p>

<p>Yes, I am in a pretty high circ area... so I have decided to really try to not be afraid to bring up intact as normal whenever I get a chance.</p>
<p>It is even easier when I know others in my circle who can back me up. That's how minds get changed. I knew I connected with these moms anyway, but finding out that they were against circ too just helped me realize our common values. </p>

<p>That's awesome. I am in a high circ area too but have seen many intact little boys at the pool and playing in the streams at the parks. </p>
