So we've been talking baby baby baby mama's having a baby for the last few months...
Our good friend just had a baby, and we visited last night and brought dinner. (nothin fancy frozen lasagna and frozen garlic bread, along with throwaway plates and silverware for ez cleanup) and evil ice cream dots for dessert (those edy's things no bowls and spoons required!)

So my son is over there chattering with her and saying 'baby baby baby!'

Then he runs over to me with this look on his face like he just figured something out...starts grabbing at my clothes frantically, pulling up my shirt. So I help him out and he pokes my bellybutton and pats my tummy yelling 'baby, baby!' THEN, for the first time ever, he kissed my tummy and threw his little arms across my tummy and laid his head down! Hugs for the baby!

HE GETS IT!! it was TOO DANG CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE was my video camera?!

it was way cute--he's been doing it every so often since too...once for grandma and grandpa and once for daddy. And it's not even something I *asked* for or anything--it's like he just decides he's got to tell them too...it's cute.
