Well, I am counting down and it is 3 weeks and 2 days until our new ds is due!

I am looking for any last minute suggestions for my newborn stash. I have a bunch of smalls, mediums and some larges, too, but I'll just give my newborn list for now. If you could let me know if I am missing anything important, that would be great! I am planning to use sposies the first couple of days until the meconium clears out. Also, am planning to bf.

Thanks!
One thing I wish I had used early on with Ben is a Fuzzi Bunz or two. There were times he would really want to sleep but couldn't settle because he was wet. Of course I would change him when I knew he was wet but as often as newborns pee sometimes they pee right after you get a clean diaper and cover on and you don't even know it. Hope that made sense - I don't seem to be thinking very clearly today.

Great stash! I think both the Kissaluvs and preemie cpf's are perfect for a newborn!

I think the only thing I personally would add would be another wool cover/soaker or two.

Otherwise- you sound perfectly set!

Thanks for the feedback. Does anyone know about BABYOLOGY on ebay? They have reasonably priced wool - I am thinking of getting 1 or 2 more nb wool covers.

Thanks!

looks great! i loved preemie pfs, personally, and contour diapers. i would get a couple more woolies too and if you have the $ i would recommend loveybums. it was my favourite newborn cover by a long shot and still fits luke over an infant pf and he's 13 1/2 lbs now. it's an aplix closure. oh and the fuzzi bunz suggestion is not a bad idea - but maybe your fleece liners will do you okay!

I have never heard of Babyology, but Ebay is a great place to get affordable wool. I have gotten some great NB wool covers here on the TP too!

Congrats! I am cding my nb now.

Since you have fleece...help me mamas...I had rice paper liners, which I don't recommend...that would be sufficent to use in your cds for the meconium stage. And like the mamas say, the bf poo stains more than the meconium. I've got dipes lined up to sun. on the woolies. I got a nb soaker on the tp from a mama for $8 ppd! You've got a winter baby. A pair of longies/pants are good. I found a really great price, that is if you can get them..I literally felt like a trainee in the Hyena Olympics, trying to make sure I practiced using hyena cart. Tiny Birds and she is oh soooooooo sweet! The nbs were $35 and some mamas like BJM at ebay. If I wasn't planning to do this in another couple years and thinking I'd save my stash, I'd give you some.

That does sound like a great stash! I have 6 days until my due date. I can't wait to cloth diaper a newborn again. I would get a few pockets...I remember those early days (and nights) when quick changes were needed I was so exhausted. I have 7 pockets this time because of that.
