She turned two on Saturday. This little girl LOVES the breast and nurses frequently whenever I am around. Though it has its moments (thrush, ouchy latches, lack of personal space), I am thrilled that we are still going strong with no end in sight! She is also sleeping better & better w/o the breast in her mouth (so long as she is not teething) which is a beautiful thing for this cosleepin' mama.

Happy birthday to my baby/big girl. I love you sweetie!

maybe I posted this in the wrong forum? I am practicing CLW, even if 2 is relatively young...I was just wanting to celebrate this particular milestone with others who'd understand. I'm still anticipating 2+ more years here...

Today when I left for work, Dd said in a dissapointed voice...breasts stuck to mama, breasts go to work. she was really hoping I could leave them at home for her today.

I'll celebrate this moment with you... It's a wonderful thing you've done for your daughter and yourself--you should feel proud!

(BTW, my DS is turning two tomorrow... He was a very high-needs baby and I feel very much like throwing myself a party for sticking it out nursing this long... )
