Just a reminder to you ladies with nosy/pushy/bugging family members, add 2 weeks to your "due date," you'll be glad you did when it gets down to the end.

Oh, I know! I'm doing the same thing. The way I figured it I would be due about June 8th. But anyone who has to "KNOW" will be told July. I don't want people calling and calling and asking if I had the baby yet when I am as big as a house and extremely uncomfortable.<br><br>

We've been telling family and friends mid-June. I'm a terrible liar (TERRIBLE) and since I feel that IS when the baby will be born (true edd is June 3 but my last dd was 41 wks and 4 days) I can say it truthfully! I'm afraid someone will push me for a date. I guess I'd better settle on one before the holidays so I can get it set in my mind as being true! June 15th sounds nice. Maybe I should push it out a little further? June 20th? Please let me deliver this babe before June 20th!<br><br>

See, I was 2 weeks "early" with my DS (who actually was born looking post-term), and I knew in my heart that I would be. I think I just cook them more quickly for some reason. So my due date is June 22 and I'm saying mid to late June if family asks (when I tell).<br><br>
It would be cool to have a baby on July 4th! She could get fireworks for her birthday every year <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

I've been 2.5 and 4 weeks for my first and second, respectively. My son was 6 lbs 15 oz and I think he was ready. Less than 24 hours later we left the hospital. Because of this, I was hesitant about the nurse giving me the 06-07-08 due date (because it looked cool, she said) since if I have this one early, they kinda get nervous about anything earlier than 37 weeks. So I was glad when the OB changed it to 6-5 (as I suspected) based on the measurements. I mean, a couple days really isn't that big a deal, but it might be the difference between them trying to stop what my body is just going to do naturally.<br><br>
And of course, having said all that, I'll deliver mid-June.

Yeah. I've just been saying June or early June. I will give a date if pressed, but always qualify it with "but my other two were late, so this babe'll probably be born on this date or this date." After me yapping that much, they usually drop it. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/wink1.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="wink1">

My daughter was born at 42w 2d. Soooooo I am right there with you. I got about 4 calls per day for almost a month. I was ready to scream everytime the phone rang.<br><br>
After the first 2 weeks, I came up with these perfect little comebacks to people I would see. I never used them, but it made me feel better.<br><br>
"haven't you had that baby yet?" - " Yes, but she was so ugly, I put her back in"<br>
"Your still pregnant?" - "Nope, I'm just fat"<br>
"When are you going to have that baby?" - "When people quite bugging me about it"<br>
"Why are you still pregnant?" - "Why are you still breathing?"<br><br>
My "due date" is the middle of July. That's all I'm telling people. There are only 3 people irl who know my true due date (I think it is June 27th) and if they call me asking if I had the baby, I'll tell them that if they call again and ask that, I will not tell them when I DO have the baby!!
