I finally got pictures up and I wanted to share! My first pair of Perfection shorts! I think they turned out really well, and L is so dang cute when she wears them! I already started a second pair.

The shorts and babe are lovely. I love the color you picked for it. Was the pattern easy? I am a relatively new knitter.

Aww, thanks everyone!

Nope, I didn't dye the yarn, it came that way. I can't tell if it is #21 or #24 on the link on my site. The yarn is not as soft as I'd hoped after lanolizing, but it's not bothering her and I do love their colors.

Pamela, your pattern is great! It took me a while to wrap my head around it, but I've only been knitting a few months. But it's explained well and you can't beat the custom fit! I am about 4 inches into the next pair already.

very cute. cute enough to make me consider buying another pattern. Must sell something to make paypal first!

and umm, where'd ya get the window gate for the window near the bed? I've never opened my dd's window (right next to her bed) but I would consider it if we had a gate like that!

Those are great!!! You'll become totally addicted I'm sure :LOL It's such a good feeling to see your kids walking around in stuff that you made just for them.

Try soaking them in some water with hair conditioner if they don't soften up enough for you.

It is addictive, I can tell already. I love it!

I should have thought of conditioner! I will have to try that next time they need to be washed. Thanks for the reminder!

Actually we don't have a window gate, there is a huge railing on the side of our bed, that's the white thing on the left side of her in the 2nd picture. The window itself is mostly blocked by our head board, but I still don't open it very much. Second story windows give me the heebie jeebies too!
