Ds is 16 mos. and he puts up a fight or says NO when I try to get him into the sling or the mei tie... It's been over 2 months.

I constantly wore him as an infant and older baby and later his day care wore him almost daily. He used to love it.

Do I just give it up or keep trying every now and agian?

Babies go through a "phase" right around that time where they just want to go go go on their own. Don't worry...he'll be back (LOL), but in the meantime if YOU are missing the snuggle time, try going for a walk or doing something fun that he'll enjoy being up a with a parent eye view.

I found that about 13-16 months, DD wasn't worn much. I don't know if it was her or us. I just found it to be much easier to have her down and out. But now, she's 19 months and back in the carriers again. She enjoys being held again and also likes to bring a carrier to me to let me know that she's like to be worn
