and I am so nervous, scared. excited...every emotion! I am someone who wants to find out the gender and I worry that the baby won't be umm "developed" enough to know for sure. I hope the baby has all it's organs and shows a strong beating heart. We have to get a fetal ecko at the end of the month, so this will be the first glimpse.

Wish me luck today!

Healthy baby is of course what we're all wishing for, but if for some reason there's any issues, don't let them pressure you into anything on the spot, ask for everything in a written report as soon as possible so you can research. I have a cousin who had a potential problem found at her ultrasound, and they talked her into an amnio at the same appt. Talk about stressful/scary!!!

BUT...here's hoping that it all goes well and you get some great pictures to share with us!!!!!

And I'm jealous that you're going today...I have to wait about a month still!
Good Luck to you, my dear!
: for great news!

Good luck! I am sure it will all be great! Can't wait to hear about it later.

At my first tri screen they wouldn't give me anything. . .I had to wait for them to send the written results to my MW and then she discussed them with me. So it kind of depends on your situation and the hospital/clinic you go to. But certainly, don't decide anything on the spot. . .its an emotional moment even when its happy. . .and it takes a little while to sink in.
All we have ever gotten at u/s is a few photos. The sonographer will usually tell you at the end if she did not find anything bad. They won't say anything at all if they are worried about something they saw. This time, our sonographer was very short and almost mean with us until she had looked at all the major organs. Then she was as friendly and nice as could be! I think it must be hard to give away that there is something wrong with the baby.

Anyways, best wishes, can't wait to hear and see!
Perhaps you are already there but still wanted to say Best Wishes and Have fun! Cant wait to here all about him/her!

a boy!

I am happy to report that everything looks normal, and the heart looks strong and normal as well. I was convinced it to me be a girl..so now it's taking a little while to really sink in..I feel bad becasue DH knows I wanted a girl, he's trying to cheer me up...I am just happy that nothing bad came up and our baby has all the correct number of limbs, a normal spine..and healthy beating heart!
