NAET practitioner?

I am looking for a recommendation for a practitioner on the metrowest area. I have found a couple of names on the NAET website. One is Dr. Robert Sampson and the other is Marcia Costello. Has anyone been to either one of them?

The only person I'm familiar with is Dr. Levatin in Brookline. While I don't personally subscribe to the NAET philosophy, she's a very good doctor. Not exactly MetroWest, but worth the 40 minute drive for us.

Why don't you subscribe to the NAET philosophy? I am just curious. I have just find out about this and would love to hear about any experiences.
I read the book written by it's inventor, and it just was not what I'd consider good science. I'm very skeptical about many alternatives therapies. I'm all for placebo effects and such (which I personally believe is how homeopathy "works"), but I won't pay big money for it. I know some people say they've had great success with it, and that's wonderful. My husband and I just can't see any empirical evidence that support it's methods. I always enjoy listening to others' experiences and other ways of thinking though.

we are doing treatments right now for our 3 year old's dairy allergy. we are seeing dr levatin in brookline. can't tell you if it is working as we are in the middle of it but i know of kids who were ana for nuts and now can eat them! not sure how a placebo effect would really work on a small child.

we are big proponents of homeopathy. GA's allergies caused her to have terrible ezcema as a baby. western medicine just wanted us to slather her with steroids forever. homeopathy made the excema go away. she was 6months old so i doubt it was the placebo effect.

I can vouch for Pamela Bemis in Roslindale. She's amazing.

We tried homeopathy for my older son's infant eczema with zero results. So we did end up resorting to the prescription ointment because it was so bad it was becoming infected. It went away before a year old, but it was no fun. I do wish some alternative treatments would have worked, but so far we've had no luck with them.
