...and 3.5 yo girls... don't mix.

"Oooooh.. pretty! Mama! LOOK!! It paints you!"

***sigh***

Magenta nail polish doesn't come out of cotton pants, does it?

(and yes, those are MY pants we're talking about.)

Okay, have to go, DS just informed me that she's now illustrating one of the keepsake Winnie the Pooh books.
You gotta love this age.

Theres a little batman blue butt print on my couch.

You should always watch to make sure a kiddo doesn't lean up against a wall you've just painted and then let them sit on the couch and watch a few mins of TV.

I laughed so hard that I couldn't be mad and my kid said, "Momma, that's not funny to laugh at my butt."

We had the carpet painted and the loveseat. I will never laugh at dark brown carpet again, I got the dark blue green nail polish out of the carpet. The texture of that spot on the loveseat is a little different, but the light purple is gone. We have also had permanent marker polka dots on the same loveseat. Everytime I think the stuff is all out of reach someone finds something.

OMG that is so funny!!!

Makes me feel better about the pants. Besides, I decided to wear them anyway. After all, it's not like anyone who sees me wrestling three kids actually expects me to look like a runway model. If anyone even noticed the pink stripe on the pants, they'd probably just nod in understanding!

If there's any money at all in the budget for clothing, it's going to be spent on the growing-like-a-weed children. All three of them have hit growth spurts at the same time, it seems. DD seems to have completely bypassed a 3T, and skipped straight into a 4T overnight. At age 3, she's wearing the same size shorts as her 6-yo brother!

Oh, and on the subject of permanent artwork around the house, I just discovered a lovely smiley face on my sheets. I believe it's in washable marker, luckily. It's located near the large red letter A that was placed there in NONwashable marker about 3 years ago by DS.
Which is why there are only washable markers located in this house now.

I wouldn't have it any other way.
